Thank you very much to all who came forward expressing an interest in the Council vacancies, all candidates were of excellent calibre. We are delighted to announce the following appointments to the Council.

Alison Warren, a Consultant Pharmacist in Cardiology, working in both primary and secondary care in Sussex. She has published on topics in clinical pharmacy and cardiology.

Chris Arden, a GP and GPSI in Cardiology. Chris is former Editor in Chief of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Journal and on the editorial board of the British Journal of Cardiology.

We are also pleased to announce Paul Gilbert as an Observer Member. Paul, is a Physician Associate, currently working both within primary care, as a PCN CVD lead, and also in secondary care.
