PCCS Annual Conference 2020 Highlights

The 8th October saw the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society deliver its first online day-long annual conference for healthcare professionals. Chaired by Dr Jim Moore, PCCS President, with a faculty of speakers from the Council and other experts in cardiovascular disease we saw over 214 delegates log on for a full day of education across a variety of CVD topics.

Delegates came from a mixture of disciplines from around the UK and were a mixture of GPs, specialist nurses, practice nurses, pharmacist and other secondary care doctors. Topics covered the key pillars of cardiovascular disease and included AF, heart failure, T2 diabetes, lipid management and blood pressure, as well the impact on services, HCPs and patients of Covid-19.

The day included five sponsored symposium sessions and we would like to thank our sponsors for their support and contribution.
