PCCS Feedback and Complaints Statement

The PCCS is committed to delivering evidence-based education and supports open, respectful professional discussion. Differences of opinion may arise during educational sessions, but all discussions should remain professional, constructive and grounded in the available evidence.

The PCCS welcomes feedback on all its educational activities, events, publications and resources. Feedback, suggestions and comments help us continually improve the quality, relevance and integrity of our work. Any formal concerns or complaints will be investigated and receive a direct response.

Feedback and Suggestions

General feedback, suggestions and comments are welcomed and may be considered as part of the PCCS's normal quality improvement, planning and review processes. While individual responses may not always be provided, all feedback is valued and helps shape future activities, educational content and member services.

Concerns and Complaints

Where formal concerns or complaints are raised, the PCCS will:

  • Acknowledge complaints within five working days – where contacts details have been provided.
  • Aim to provide a substantive response within twenty working days or advise if additional time is required to complete the review.
  • Review and investigate concerns fairly, objectively and proportionately, taking account of the nature and seriousness of the issue raised.
  • Consider all available evidence and seek clarification where necessary.
  • Consult relevant subject matter experts and event organisers where appropriate.
  • Respond directly to named complainants whenever contact details are provided.
  • Identify and implement learning where appropriate to support continuous improvement of PCCS activities, processes and member experiences.

Anonymous complaints

Where concerns or complaints are submitted anonymously, PCCS will still consider the information provided; however, our ability to investigate fully, seek clarification or provide a direct response may be limited when further information cannot be obtained.

The PCCS remains committed to considering all feedback constructively and to handling concerns and complaints in a fair, transparent and proportionate manner.

Individuals wishing to raise a concern are encouraged to provide their name and contact details to enable a full investigation and response.
