WHO WE ARE
Meet the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (PCCS)
The Council:
At the PCCS our expert Council members, who have a wealth of cardiovascular knowledge and experience, guide the objectives and activities of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society. They also represent all the different healthcare groups across our membership, as well as a patient representative.
In addition to supporting and creating all of society's educational activities, the Council presents on our behalf at national meetings on cardiovascular disease. Additionally, they support the development of other primary care health care providers in the field of cardiovascular medicine.

The Directors:
The PCCS is governed by a Board of Directors, who hold overall responsibility for the society's governance, strategy, and financial oversight. The Board includes two Non-Executive Directors alongside directors who also serve as members of Council, ensuring close alignment between the society's governance and its clinical and educational activities.

Electoral College
Electoral College members will have voting rights and play an active role in PCCS governance. The Electoral College will be overseen by a Membership Committee, including the PCCS Secretary, a non-executive director, and two non-director council members.
