The British & Irish Hypertension Society would like to invite you to our 2024 meeting in Manchester. The meeting will be held at the Bridgewater Hall in the centre of Manchester – the home of the Hallé Orchestra. The annual dinner will take place amongst the exhibits within the Manchester Museum right in the historic centre of the University.

They will also be trialling a revised programme spread over two full days, which is something that they haven’t done for several years. Still, they will be maintaining the breadth of the meeting and the number of oral presentations will remain the same.  This year they will focus on novel antihypertensive therapies, including the newer weight loss drugs, and I am delighted that Professor Sadaf Farooqi FRS will be giving the Pickering lecture. Above all, they look forward to sharing this time with their members and distinguished guests. We hope that they will be able to join us and share this experience with us.
