Are you a primary care healthcare professional who has implemented a change management programme to improve cardiovascular outcomes in your practice? Here’s your chance to showcase your impact and inspire others! Poster abstract submission are invited for PCCS 6th Spring Conference, which will be held on 14th and 15th May 2026 at the King's Fund, London. What we’re looking for: Submit your poster abstract for your change management programme with baseline data, measurable quantitative improvements, and relevance to cardiovascular disease management. Accepted abstract entries will then be invited to submit their posters which will then be displayed digitally at the conference and judged by the PCCS council. An award will be presented for the winning entry and they will also have the opportunity to write an article based on their poster for publication in the British Journal of Cardiology (BJC) subject to peer review. Content for your submission should include: An overview of the change management programme The cardiovascular disease-related issue addressed Goals for improvement, with expected quantitative measures Entries are invited in the form of a titled abstract of no more than 500 words, which should include the following sections: Aims or objectives: What is the objective of the change management programme? Methods: Criteria, standard(s), target(s) and exception(s) and the time between baseline and re-audit Results: The baseline and re-audit results Conclusion: What measurable quantitative improvements have been achieved? Key dates: Abstract Submission deadline: Friday, 20th February 2026 Acceptance notification: Friday, 13th March 2026 Poster submission deadline: Friday, 24th April 2026 Winner Announcement: Friday, 15th May 2025 (during the PCCS’ Spring Conference) Further details Accepted articles will be displayed digitally at the PCCS Spring Conference and judged by the PCCS Council. An award will be presented for the winning entry and they will also have the opportunity to write an article for consideration for publication in the British Journal of Cardiology (BJC) subject to peer review.
