Heart Rhythm Congress 2022

HRC2022 is dedicated to all healthcare professionals across all disciplines with an interest in arrhythmias. There is something for everyone from consultant electrophysiologists, fellows, trainees, clinical scientists, general cardiologists, nurses, physiologists to general practitioners, stroke physicians and policy makers. Whatever your role in the healthcare team, there are sessions at HRC that meet your needs and improves your education.

  • The UK’s largest heart rhythm congress will be a combination of both in-person and online – a hybrid event to meet the needs of all. The in-person event will take place at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham, UK, 9-11 October.
  • HRC2022 will host more than 70 sessions, over 250 international faculty, with more than 2000 international delegates expected to attend. CPD points have been applied for.

Cardiovascular disease, diabetes and all their various clinical manifestations remain one of the most important and frequently seen disease categories in everyday medical practice. Understanding your patients risk of a future cardiovascular event and how we as clinicians can reduce that risk is important to the future well being of our patients.

SHARP Prize 2022 – Call for Abstract

Four prizes of £500, to be used for educational purposes, is open to all health professionals and researchers. One prize is designated as a LIPID prize.

Please submit an abstract outlining a recent research/audit project or clinical audit/service improvement with relevance to cardiovascular disease or diabetes. Four abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation at the Annual Scientific Hybrid Meeting of SHARP and the Scottish Lipid Forum. Abstracts should be limited to 200 words and submitted to SHARP@dundee.ac.uk by Friday 28th October 2022.
