The Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (PCCS) are delighted to invite you to the Women’s Health & CVD Webinar: Understanding CVD risk through the menopause, taking place virtually on Thursday, 7th November 2024 at 19:00-20:25.

The greater risk of cardiovascular disease during the menopausal years calls for a spotlight on women’s health and CVD. Chaired by GP and menopause expert, Dr Katie Barber and delivered by GP with a speciality in cardiology, Dr Yassir Javaid, this webinar will provide an opportunity to understand the cardiovascular effects of the menopause. An overview of the cardiovascular risk and interventions for managing CVD in women as well as hormone replacement therapy will be discussed.
